Rescue Alert
Rescue Alert is a family owned company headquartered in South Jordan, Utah. The company has a history of setting industry standards with innovation and development of medical alarms and monitoring services. With over thirty years of experience, Rescue Alert continues to reliably and compassionately provide peace of mind and independence to seniors and their loved ones.

Through The Years
1981
Richard Bangerter and other individuals developed an emergency communication system, based in people’s homes, capable of using existing telephone service lines. The result of their efforts was SOSTEN. It was a “smart”, stand-alone system that did not require monitoring.
1986
In answer to the needs of the new medical alert market, Richard Bangerter incorporated Mytrex, Inc, (DBA Rescue Alert) and opened company headquarters in Murray, Utah.
1990
Rescue Alert launches the RA100 and Automated System.
1991
Due to growth, Rescue Alert moved it's headquarters to Midvale, UT.
1992
Rescue Alert launches the RA200
1996
Rescue Alert launches the RA300V - It was the first Mytrex unit to include two- way voice technology. This allowed for immediate, hands free communication.
1998
Rescue Alert moved its headquarters to Draper, UT.
1999
Rescue launches the RA400. The unit included a high performance transmitter and receiver. This unit changed the industry with its advanced features and options.
2003
Rescue Alert built a new building in South Jordan, Utah, large enough to support sustained growth.
2011
Rescue Alert launches the MXD medical alarm system. The MXD is the first system that is compatible with VoIP, cable, cell box and standard telephone systems.
2013
Mytrex launches the MXD3G and once again changes the medical alarm industry. The MXD3G is the first 3G cellular option on the market, allowing those without a landline phone service to be protected and monitored.
2015
Mytrex launches the myActive Fall Alert.
2019
With their patented technology, Rescue Alert launches myLink and MXD-LTE on AT&T network.
2022
Mytrex launches dual carrier (AT&T and Verizon) functionality for MXD-LTE.
2023 (May 19)
Rescue Alert launches the RA3TX+ Personal Help Button.
2023 (October 2)
Rescue Alert introduces myConnect®, a cloud-based mobile emergency response system.
